Frequently asked questions
What is a reusable bamboo kitchen towel?
It is a washable towel sheet you use in place of a disposable paper towel. Ours are 2-ply sheets made of 100% rayon derived from bamboo, on a roll of 20 perforated sheets. Tear one off, use it, wash it and use it again.
What are Bamboora towels made of?
Each sheet is 2-ply fabric made of 100% rayon derived from bamboo. They come on a roll of 20 perforated sheets, about 11 × 12 in (28 × 30 cm) each.
Do they shed fibers?
New sheets can shed a few loose fibers during the first washes. Wash them before first use, and wash them separately for the first few times. This settles down after a few washes.
Can I machine wash them?
Yes. Hand or machine wash up to 30 °C / 86 °F with regular detergent. Skip fabric softener, as it reduces absorbency. Air or line dry. Do not tumble dry or iron.
How many times can I wash a sheet?
Up to 85 washes per sheet with the care steps above. How long they last depends on how you use and wash them.
How long does one roll last?
One roll can replace up to 6 months of paper towels, based on typical household use. Results vary.
Will they shrink?
They may shrink up to 10%, mostly in the first washes. Washing cool and air drying helps.
Is the packaging plastic?
No. They ship in paper packaging, with no plastic.
Where are they made?
They are made in China.
Where can I buy them?
On Amazon US: the 2-roll pack and the 4-roll set.
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes. Email hello@bambooralife.com with your business name and what you are looking for, and we will reply with details.
